It is with mixed emotions that we announce Movies by the Sea's closing by the end of the month. The past five years have been so much fun and we are grateful to all of you who supported us during the adventure. We have decided to close the store to spend more time with our family and to focus on the expansion of Pizza by the Sea and other potential projects. We are currently having a giant sale with movies $1 and up, merchandise 33% off and all displays for sale. We would love for you to come by and stake your claim on a piece of MBTS history, so we hope to see you soon. Thanks again for supporting our little place.

These cars are hot! Automoblox are one of the best-selling toys we've ever carried. Every time we reorder them, they sell out. They are not only cool looking, but will entertain boys and girls alike. My almost three year old girl actually played with one for 20 minutes. This is about 20 times as long as she plays with most things! We just received a new shipment, so come grab one while you can.

Welcome to our brand spanking new blog! This is where we'll tell you about new merchandise and movies at our little shop and any promotions we're running. We're excited to be working with Lesley Isacks, who is responsible for the gorgeous photos you'll see on the blog {at least the professional looking ones!}. We've had so much fun working with Lesley who is a little ray of sunshine and a creative soul. Incidentally, she's been one of our best customers since the movie store opened in April of 2004, so she is the perfect fit to capture us through her lens.

So onto business. These crochet hats are not only adorable, they are practical. The flowers are clipped on so the hats can be washed and the clips can be worn in hair or on clothes.
